Auto-Moderation features in Buzzspark

When you create a new Source, the default Moderation setting is to set all ingested content to Queued so it can be manually moderated. You can easily override this behaviour for existing or new Sources – particularly for trusted Sources such as your official or brand social accounts.

Step 1:

From the left menu, navigate to Content > Sources.

Step 2:

If you need to enable Auto Moderation for an existing Source, locate the Source and click on the corresponding Edit button in the Actions column, or skip to the next step if you are creating a new Source.

Step 3:

Click on the Moderation tab of the Source.

You can specify the default Moderation settings for this Source by clicking on the corresponding Queued, Publish or Disable buttons for the following types of content:

Posts with Text only – items that do not contain any media (images or videos)

Posts with Images– items that contain images

Posts with Images – items that contain video.

In the above example, all posts with images or videos are set to be automatically published, whilst posts with only text are set to remain queued.

It is also recommended to leave the Banned Word Filter enabled, which automatically disables any posts with inappropriate or banned words. Learn more about Banned Word Filtering.

Any changes applied to the Moderation settings of a Source, apply to new content ingested via that Source from the time the changes are saved. Any previously aggregated content will remain unchanged.
