Customising Form Fields
All custom options for Forms are grouped into tabs in the right sidebar when editing a Form. This article covers the Fields tab, which allows you to customise upload options and add custom fields in Forms. You can also view all available custom options along with the structure and terminology used in Forms.
From the left menu, browse to Content > Forms.
Click on the Edit button under the Actions column for Form you wish to edit.
On the Edit Form page, click on the Fields tab in the right sidebar to edit any of the options described below.
Display Name – collects the content contributor’s Display Name. This field can be enabled/disabled and marked as required.
Email – enable this option to capture the content contributor’s email. This field can be enabled/disabled and marked as required.
Media – when enabled, allows content contributors to upload media assets.
Images – select this checkbox to allow image files to be uploaded.
Videos – select this checkbox to allow video files to be uploaded.
Required – select this checkbox to make media fields required.
Allow upload from – options to allow contributors to upload assets directly from their social accounts.
Instagram – select this checkbox to allow uploads via Instagram.
Facebook - select this checkbox to allow uploads via Facebook.
Captions – enable this option to allow captions to be submitted. This field can be enabled/disabled and marked as required.
When Captions are Media are both enabled, contributors can submit captions for each media asset. When Captions are enabled and Media is disabled, contributors can only submit a comment.
reCaptcha – enable this option to include Google's reCAPTCHA in the Form to prevent spam submissions.
Custom Fields – click to define custom fields to collect additional data from content creators.
Enable – enable or disable a custom field.
Label – enter a label for the custom field.
Type – select the custom field type.
Required – set the custom field to be required.
Click Apply when done.
Custom Buttons – you can define custom buttons to direct visitors to specific URLs after they have completed their submission.
Enable – enable or disable a custom button.
Label – enter a label for the custom field.
URL – enter the URL contributors will be directed.
Click Apply when done.
In addition to the custom buttons, contributors are also presented with the option to upload more content.
Click on the bottom right Save Changes button to save changes to your Form when done.
