Customising Sliders in Widget Displays
This article covers the Slider Options tab in Widget Diplays, which allows you to customise navigation buttons and scrollbar options in Slider themes. You can also view all available custom options along with the structure and terminology used in Widget Displays.
From the left menu, browse to Engage > Widget Displays.
Click on the Edit button under the Actions column for the Widget Display you wish to customise.
On the Edit Display page, click on the Slider Options tab in the right sidebar to edit any of the options described below.
Nav buttons – enable this option to include left and right navigational (arrow) buttons in the Slider.
Nav Button style – configure the following:
Button Position – select the position of where the navigation buttons should appear on the Slider.
Advance By - select how many Tiles to advance on each button click (one Tile at a time or one page at a time).
Speed – enter a value for the transition time in milliseconds.
Button Size – customise the size of the navigation buttons.
Button Colour – customise the colour of the navigation button.
Click the Apply button to apply changes
Scroll Bar – enable this option to show scroll bar under the Slider.
Scroll Bar Style – configure the following:
Initial State – customise the colour and background of the scroll bar in its initial state.
Hover (mouseover) state - customise the colour and background of the scroll bar in its hover state.
Click the Apply button to apply changes
Autoplay – enable this option to have the Slider autoplay and show new Tiles without user interaction.
Autoplay Options – configure the following:
Advance By – customise how many Tiles to advance on each autoplay cycle.
Speed – enter a value for the transition time in milliseconds.
Interval – enter the delay in milliseconds between autoplay cycles.
Loop – enable this option to automatically loop to the beginning after the last Tile is shown. If enabled, we recommend enabling Auto Load More for best results.
Click the Apply button to apply changes
Click on the bottom right Save Changes button to save your changes when done.
Customising Widget Displays – Sider Options Tab
From the left menu, browse to Engage > Widget Displays.
