What are Filters?

Filters in Buzzspark are the feeds that connect your approved content with your touchpoints (Displays) and provide flexibility and control over what content to show and where.

You can create any number of Filters and each Filter can be configured to show only content that is relevant to a specific touchpoint (Display).

How do Filters work?

Published Content
Your pool of approved content may consist of posts from different social networks, including your official branded content and UGC content, relating to different hashtag campaigns such as competitions and events, containing images or videos, etc.

Filters
The example above depicts two Filters:
The Live Event Screen Filter is configured to show only content
originating from Twitter or Instagram
with the Tag #MyEvent
where the content contains images or videos.

The Competition Page Filter is configured show only content
originating from Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook
with the Tag #MyCompetition or @MyBrand
where the content contains images or videos.

In this way, you can create any number of Filters to distribute content across different touchpoints.

Displays
Displays control how your curated feeds appear across your touchpoints. In the above example:
An Event Display is used to show the feed from the Live Event Screen Filter on a large screen – for example, at live indoor or outdoor events.
A Widget Display is used to embed the feed from the Competition Page Filter in web pages – for example, landing pages, galleries, product pages etc.
