Buzzspark fundamentals

Buzzspark is a versatile user-generated content platform that gives you everything you need to capture, curate, distribute, and track performance of the content generated by your community – at scale and with confidence.

Key components and content flow in Buzzspark UGC platform

Think of Buzzspark as your user-generated-content or UGC Library.

Sources

You can capture content from Social Networks using Sources.

For example,
Content posted by specific users,
Content that mentions your brand,
Content containing specific hashtags or keywords, and more.

Typically, this would include content posted by your:
customers and community,
employees,
as well as content from your own, official channels.

Content from Sources is updated every minute, and you can fine-tune each Source to filter content that’s not relevant.

Forms

Outside of social, you can use Forms to collect content and lead data directly from your community.

You can:
define the content and data you want to capture,
customise styles, and
embed Forms on any webpage or mobile app.

This gives you an instant and seamless way to collect content from your community via:
your website or ecommerce store,
your email marketing and CRM, and
offline via QR codes.

Moderation

With content flowing into our UGC Library, you need robust tools to manage it – whether it’s a few hundred, or hundreds of thousands of items.

At the simplest level, you need editorial control – what’s approved for publishing, and what’s not. In Buzzspark, you can do this and much more, via a host of Curation tools.

You can:
moderate content in real-time and on any device,
refine and search for content, and
take actions on content.

So, whether you’re working from home on your laptop or at a live event, you can quickly find the right content, take the right action, at the right time.

In Buzzspark, each item of content has a Publish Status which can be:
Published,
Queued, or
Disabled.

Queued simply means it's awaiting to be approved or rejected.

By default, all content flowing into your Library is set to Queued, and this can be easily changed or automated for each Source or Form.

Tags

To help you keep track of all your content, there’s Tags. Tags help you identify, group, and take actions on your content.

Like:
showcasing hashtagged content on your community page, or
only including content tagged ‘Outdoor’ or ‘Sunny’ in your email campaign.

You can apply any Tags to any content - individually, in bulk or automatically.

Tags are incredibly simple to use, yet so flexible and powerful in what they enable you to do.

eCommerce

Products in Buzzspark let you import your entire product catalogues directly from your eCommerce store.

So, you can easily Tag your products:
where they appear in UGC with a couple of clicks, or
have the right products dynamically Tagged when customers share content with you via Forms.

When you showcase content, in Shoppable galleries for example, your audiences have a direct path from inspiration to purchase.

Rights Management

The Rights Management features in Buzzspark let you request Rights for content individually, in bulk and automatically.

You can:
view and manage all your requests in one place,
get notified when your requests are approved, and
download assets for online and offline use.

The approval process is customisable, so your audiences receive a seamless and positive brand experience.

Filters

Filters in Buzzspark let you create custom feeds of content from your UGC Library.

Such as:
content featuring a specific product or collection,
content for specific events, or campaigns, or
content for specific touchpoints, seasons, or regions.

Creating a Filter is as simple as clicking a button and selecting your criteria.

You get complete control over all your content to extract maximum value from your UGC Library.

Displays

Showcasing your custom feeds is done via Displays.

There are three types of Displays in Buzzspark:
Widget Displays are for embedding content on webpages and mobile apps.
Event Displays are for showcasing content on digital displays or digital signage solutions, and
Email Campaigns are for publishing UGC in emails.

You can create any number of displays, and each one is fully customisable.

Just:
select the custom feed you want to showcase.
choose from a range of built-in themes.
select features, layout, and styling using No-Code editors, or
use the developer tools to build your own engaging experiences.

Security mechanisms are also built-in for when you want to publish content for restricted audiences.

Typical use-cases of Displays include:
Publishing content on websites and eCommerce stores, including shoppable galleries.
Integrating UGC in your email marketing and CRM.
Showcasing content on digital screens at events, conferences, and in retail stores.
Publishing content to intranets, and digital screens in workplaces and boardrooms.

Custom Tiles & Adverts

You can also upload your content via Custom Tiles and Adverts.
Custom Tiles let you create your own posts which appear in Displays alongside posts from your community.
Adverts on the other hand appear every so often in Displays.

Together, Custom Tiles and Adverts provide effective ways for promoting brand or sponsored content to audiences when they’re most engaged.

Reports

In Buzzspark, tracking and reporting is built in.

You can:
track the performance of your content, contributors, products and more,
customise and share reports with your team, and
integrate directly with Google Analytics Event Tracking.

For teams wanting to grow their community and drive revenue, Buzzspark is the most versatile UGC platform that helps you scale content production and free up your time and resources.

You can:
Invite and assign roles for internal and external team members, and
Manage multiple brands or multiple accounts if you’re an agency.

Buzzspark is also fully compliant with data-privacy regulations including GDPR and CCPA.
